On 9 May 2023, the UK Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) closed its consultation on its “Issues Statement” as part of Phase 2 of its market investigation into the acquisition of VMware, a provider of multi-cloud services, by Broadcom, a supplier of semiconductor and infrastructure software products.
