Automated Vehicles Bill was adopted following House of Lords’ agreement to amendments made by House of Commons
On 8 May 2024, the House of Lords considered and agreed to the amendments made by the House of Commons to the Automated Vehicles Bill. The amendments addressed provisions on fees, monetary penalties, and the functions of traffic commissioners, as well as information requirements relating to traffic regulation measures and the application of regulations made by the Scottish Ministers and the Welsh Ministers. The Bill, as amended, thereby completed parliamentary consideration of amendments and proceeded to Royal Assent.
