Amendment to Broadcasting Act is introduced in the Sejm

On 7 July 2021, the Bill to amend the Broadcasting Act was submitted to the Sejm. The amendment aims to introduce a new threshold on foreign investment in national radio and television stations. In particular, the Bill would prevent companies outside the European Economic Area from holding or acquiring more than a 49% stake in television and radio stations.
