Implemented OMB Memorandum requiring contracts to include a prohibition of installation of TikTok on Government Devices

On 27 June 2023, the Memorandum for the Heads of Executive Departments and Agencies implementing the "No TikTok on Government Devices Act" adopted by the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) requiring agencies to ensure that the contracts include provisions conforming to the prohibition on the installation and use of TikTok on Government Devices, is implemented. In particular, the Memorandum required agencies, within a maximum of 120 days of its adoption on 27 February 2023, to ensure that the new contracts don't include provisions requiring the use of the application and add in the contract provisions to ensure compliance with the prohibition of installation and use of TikTok.
