Introduced State Antitrust Enforcement Venue Act (H.R. 3460) in House
On 21 May 2021, H.R. 3460, the State Antitrust Enforcement Venue Act of 2021, was introduced in the US House of Representatives. The Bill would prohibit companies from requesting to move antitrust cases to other preferred courts. Currently, civil actions which are simultaneously tried before different federal courts on similar issues may be transferred to one court to consolidate the whole proceeding and subsequent results. This Act would limit such actions for antitrust cases. The House Bill is related to the identical Senate Bill S.1787.
