Introduction of State Antitrust Enforcement Venue Act 2021 (S.1787) in Senate

On 24 May 2021, the "State Antitrust Enforcement Venue Act" was introduced in the US Senate. The Act aims to facilitate antitrust enforcement by allowing lawsuits by state attorneys general under federal law to remain in their original court district instead of being transferred elsewhere (or consolidated elsewhere for multi-state lawsuits) at the request of the litigant. The Senate Bill is related to the identical House Bill H.R.3460.
