On 14 June 2022, the US Senate passed the "State Antitrust Enforcement Venue Act". The Act aims to facilitate antitrust enforcement by allowing lawsuits by state attorneys general under federal law to remain in their original court district instead of being transferred elsewhere (or consolidated elsewhere for multi-state lawsuits) at the request of the litigant. The Senate Bill is related to the identical House Bill H.R.3460.
