Vietnam: Ministry of Science and Technology closes consultation on Draft Law on Artificial Intelligence including user rights

On 20 October 2025, the Ministry of Science and Technology (MST) closes the public consultation, which had been open since 29 September 2025, on the Draft Law on Artificial Intelligence. The draft Law requires providers to ensure transparency for affected persons. Providers must disclose the nature and decision mechanisms of high-risk AI systems and establish a process for individuals to request human review of automated outcomes.
