Vietnam: Ministry of Science and Technology opened consultation on Draft Law on Artificial Intelligence including user rights

On 29 September 2025, the Ministry of Science and Technology (MST) opened a public consultation, until 20 October 2025, on the Draft Law on Artificial Intelligence. The draft Law requires providers to ensure transparency towards affected individuals by disclosing the nature and decision-making mechanisms of high-risk AI systems and establishing a process that allows individuals to request human review of automated decisions.
