Law on Digital Technology Industry including copyright protection regulation enters into force

On 1 January 2026, the Law on the Digital Technology Industry, including copyright protection regulation, enters into force. The law delineates the prohibited acts in digital technology industry activities. Infringement of intellectual property rights is also included among others. In particular, the illicit appropriation, transfer, or sale of the results of research and development in digital technology products and services is prohibited.
