Law on Digital Technology Industry including copyright protection regulation was adopted by National Assembly
On 14 June 2025, the National Assembly of Vietnam adopted the Law on the Digital Technology Industry, including copyright protection regulation. The law delineates the prohibited acts in digital technology industry activities. Infringement of intellectual property rights is also included among others. In particular, the illicit appropriation, transfer, or sale of the results of research and development in digital technology products and services is prohibited.
