On 6 June 2025, the Malaysia Competition Commission (MyCC) closes the public consultation as part of its market review of the digital economy ecosystem, conducted under Section 11 of the Competition Act 2010. The review, scheduled from July 2024 to December 2025, examines competition dynamics and market structure across five sub-sectors: mobile operating and payment systems, e-commerce retail marketplaces, digital advertising services, online travel agencies, and data privacy and protection.
