Implemented Online Safety and Media Regulation including registration requirement for video on-demand

On 15 March 2023, the Online Safety and Media Regulation Act entered into force following the adoption of the Minister for Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media of the Commencement Order 2023 enforcing the Act. The transposes the Audiovisual Media Services Directive and introduces a registration requirement for video-on-demand platforms.
