Argentina: Concluded negotiations on MERCOSUR-Singapore Free Trade Agreement

On 21 July 2022, the Ministers from the MERCOSUR Member States, Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay, Uruguay and Singapore announced that the parties have concluded the negotiations on the Free Trade Agreement. The parties aim to enhance trade and investment links by securing market access and creating business opportunities. The parties state that they intend to provide businesses with access to government procurement opportunities and simplify trade procedures, while also ensuring improved investor protection.
