Description

Filed emergency motion in Missouri et al v. Biden concerning undue influence on social media platforms regarding online content moderation (Missouri v Biden)

On 11 September 2023, the US Government filed an emergency motion before the US District Court United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit in "Missouri et al v. Biden" requesting the Court of Appeals to issue a new ruling to prevent invalidated parts of a lower court order from taking effect again. In particular, the motion requests a partial stay of a preliminary injunction to prevent the parts that were overruled of the lower court order from taking effect after the 10-day period granted by the Court of Appeals suspending restrictions to allow the Government to appeal before the Supreme Court.
