Introduced Bill expanding definition of sensitive personal information in CCPA (AB 947)

On 14 February 2023, AB 947 amending the California Consumer Protection Act (CCPA) was introduced to the California State Assembly. The Bill expands the definition of "sensitive personal information" to include personal information that reveals a consumer’s citizenship or immigration status.
