Closed consultation on Draft Telecommunications Law including Consumer Protection Regulation

On 27 December 2022, the government closed its consultation on the draft Telecommunications Law. The draft includes restrictions on unfair pricing and opaque practices that would harm consumers. Telecom service providers are required to provide correct and fair charge calculations for their clients. Additionally, transparency of tariff charges, contract clauses, and technical standards is required.
