Consultation closed on Electronic Communications (Security Measures) Regulations 2022

On 10 May 2022, the UK Government Department for Digital, Culture, Media & Sports (DCMS) closed its public consultation on the Electronic Communications (Security Measures) Regulations 2022. The Regulations set out specific requirements for UK public telecommunications providers to meet their legal obligations under the Telecommunication Security Act. The same consultation also covered the government's draft Telecommunications Security Code of Practice, which contains guidance on how to meet the specific obligations under the Regulations.
