Rejected appeal against requirements for 5G auctions banning the use of Huawei products for 5G services
On 22 June 2021, the Administrative Court in Stockholm rejected Huawei's appeal against the Swedish Post and Telecom Authority's decision banning the use of Huawei products on the 5G frequencies in Sweden. Furthermore, the court noted that its decision is based on the Security Police and the Armed Forces' assessment that the use of Huawei’s products could compromise Sweden's national security.
