Republic of Korea: Bill on Partial Amendment to the Act on Promotion of Industrial Digital Transformation (Bill No. 2214589) including organisational requirement was introduced to National Assembly

On 26 November 2025, the Bill on Partial Amendment to the Act on Promotion of Industrial Digital Transformation (Bill No. 2214589) was introduced to the National Assembly. The Bill would amend or introduce Articles 5, 6, 11, 15 to 19, 24-2, 26, and 27. These provisions would establish organisational structures and processes, including the three-year Comprehensive Plan, fact-finding and diagnostic assessments, specialised companies, pilot projects, support centres, industrial artificial intelligence data centres, designated dedicated agencies, and approved associations.
