Republic of Korea: National Assembly adopted Bill on Partial Amendment to the Act on Promotion of Industrial Digital Transformation (Bill No. 2214589) including organisational requirement

On 2 December 2025, the National Assembly adopted the Bill on Partial Amendment to the Act on Promotion of Industrial Digital Transformation (Bill No. 2214589). The amendment revised or newly introduced Articles 5, 6, 11, 15 to 19, 24-2, 26, and 27. These provisions establish organisational structures and processes, including the three-year Comprehensive Plan, fact-finding and diagnostic assessments, specialised companies, pilot projects, support centres, industrial artificial intelligence data centres, designated dedicated agencies, and approved associations.
