On 12 August 2025, the Ministry of Science and Technology opened a public consultation until 15 August 2025 on the Draft Law on Digital Transformation, 2025. The Draft Law requires organisations and individuals introducing products, goods, processes, or services serving digital transformation, or connecting to information systems of state agencies, to obtain conformity certification, declare conformity, and use the conformity mark before provision, under Article 63(1). The Draft Law provides that conformity certification and declaration are conducted on the basis of applicable technical standards and technical regulations for products, goods, processes, and services under Article 62(1) and Article 62(2). It also assigns the Ministry of Science and Technology competence to issue lists of products, goods, and services subject to mandatory quality inspection and management, and to promulgate relevant technical regulations and technical requirements under Article 63(2)(a) and Article 63(2)(b).
