Description

Financial Markets Authority and Prudential Control and Resolution Authority issued guidance against unauthorised forex and crypto-asset derivative investment services

On 17 October 2025, France’s Financial Markets Authority (AMF) and the Prudential Control and Resolution Authority (ACPR) issued guidance warning against unauthorised entities offering foreign exchange and crypto-asset derivative investments. It applies to firms soliciting French investors for forex trading and crypto-asset derivatives without authorisation. The measure adds 43 forex and 23 crypto-derivative websites, including aekcapital, argusinterfx, pocketoption, provise24, apex-trade, nexonmarkets, and bcqecoin. It also advises consumers to verify intermediaries through the official register of authorised financial service providers.
