China: State Administration for Market Regulation opened consultation on draft regulations on the supervision and management of live E-commerce including user rights

On 10 June 2025, the State Administration for Market Regulation opened the public consultation on the draft regulations on the supervision and management of live E-commerce until 10 July 2025. The regulations provide that users have the right to appeal any enforcement actions taken against them by the platform, and must receive clear information about such actions. They are also entitled to access archived livestream content related to their transactions for a specified minimum period.
