Ministry of Commerce concludes suspension of unreliable entity list measures on 6 US companies reintroducing restrictions

On 12 August 2025, the Chinese Ministry of Commerce is scheduled to reinstate the measures imposed on six U.S. entities under the Unreliable Entity List framework, pursuant to Announcement [2025] No. 8. The original order prohibits the listed entities from engaging in import and export activities related to China and from making new investments within the country. Upon reinstatement, these restrictions will again take effect, with any exceptions subject to application and regulatory approval.
