China: Ministry of Commerce concludes suspension of dual-use export control order on 12 US companies reintroducing restrictions

On 12 August 2025, the Chinese Ministry of Commerce is scheduled to reinstate export control measures on 12 US entities listed under Announcement No. 22 of 2025. The original order prohibits the export of dual-use items to these entities, citing national security and non-proliferation concerns. Following the end of the suspension period, exporters will be required to obtain authorisation for any such transactions, with applications subject to individual review in accordance with applicable regulations.
