Roskomnadzor restrictions on two VPN services
On 17 June 2021, Roskomnadzor, the Russian mass media regulator, announced that restrictions on the VPN services VyprVPN and Opera VPN had been introduced to prevent access to restricted illegal internet content. 'White lists' have been created to register legitimate users of VPN services, whose IP addresses will not be blocked.
