Roskomnadzor bans use of six additional VPN services
On 2 December 2021, Roskomnadzor, the Russian mass media regulator, announced that it had banned the use of a further six VPN services. The affected VPN services are Betternet, Lantern, X-VPN, Cloudflare WARP, Tachyon VPN, and PrivateTunnel. Earlier in the year, in September 2021, Roskomnadzor had already issued restrictions on another set of VPN services.
