European Union: Closed consultation on EDPB Guidelines 01/2020 on data protection regulation

On 4 May 2020, the consultation on the Guidelines 01/2020 on processing personal data in the context of connected vehicles and mobility-related applications is closed by the European Data Protection Board. In particular, the guideline offers general recommendations on the categories and purposes of utilised data, the right of the data subject and the principles that shall be followed in the design of data processing procedures. Moreover, the Guidelines contains a variety of related case studies.
