European Union: Opened consultation on EDPB Guidelines 01/2020 on data protection regulation

On 7 February 2020, the European Data Protection Board opened a consultation on the Guidelines 01/2020 on processing personal data in the context of connected vehicles and mobility-related applications until 4 May 2020. In particular, the guideline offers general recommendations on the categories and purposes of utilised data, the right of the data subject and the principles that shall be followed in the design of data processing procedures. Moreover, the Guidelines contains a variety of related case studies.
