On 1 March 2023, the Danish Data Protection Authority (Datatilsynet) began an investigation into insurance company IDA Forsikring regarding their use of artificial intelligence to analyse recordings of customer service telephone conversations. The investigation is aimed at establishing the permissibility of these actions under data protection rules.
