Issued NPPA August 2024 list of approved imported online video games
On 1 August 2024, China's National Press and Publication Administration (NPPA) issued a new list of approved imported online video games. The NPPA is responsible for approving video games by both domestic and foreign game developers prior to their release in the Chinese market. In particular, the NPPA approved 15 new imported titles, including Rainbow Six, Super Robot, High Hall Chronicles, Cairo All-Round Manager, Mario Golf: Super Rush, Marvel Showdown, Marvel Ultimate Reversal, Scrappy Sailor, Speed King, Genius Designer, Wario, Samurai Zero, Dynasty Warriors: World, Paper Mario: The Origami King, and Final Fantasy XIV: Crystal World.
