Announced Roskomnadzor ban of WPEngine, Inc. for violating local operational requirements
On 27 March 2024, the Russian Federal Service for Supervision of Communications, Information Technology and Mass Media (Roskomnadzor) announced a complete ban against accessing information resources by the foreign company WPEngine, Inc. The company failed to register a personal account on Roskomnadzor's website, place a feedback form for Russian citizens and organisations, and establish an authorised representative office in Russia. Due to non-compliance with previous orders, search engines were already not allowed to display information about the website of the company.
