Published Declaration from the G7 Industry, Technology and Digital Ministerial Meeting regarding the Operationalisation of Data Free Flow with Trust

On 16 March 2024, the Industry, Tech and Digital Ministers of the G7 issued a ministerial declaration. Among various other issues, the declaration reaffirmed the G7's commitment to operationalising Data Free Flow with Trust (DFFT), supporting the advances made by the DFFT Expert Community at the OECD, and calling for updates on next steps. G7 Ministers wish to further promote DFFT and welcome knowledge sharing amongst G7 data protection authorities.
