On 17 February 2024, the obligation for providers of intermediary services to submit data in the Digital Services Act (DSA) transparency database, enters into force. The transparency database offers users the ability to access summary statistics, conduct specific searches for statements of reasons, and download datasets. Under DSA, providers of hosting services are required to provide clear and specific information to users regarding restrictions imposed on content that was classified as illegal or incompatible with their terms and conditions. In addition, the providers of hosting services must submit the decisions and statements of reason to the database managed by the Commission.
