Closed consultation on Digital Services Act (DSA) transparency database

On 17 July 2023, the public consultation closes on European Commission Digital Services Act (DSA) transparency database. Under DSA, providers of hosting services are required to provide clear and specific information to users regarding restrictions imposed on content that was classified as illegal or incompatible with their terms and conditions. In addition, the providers of hosting services must submit the decisions and statements of reason to the database managed by the Commission. The Commission issued the software code and, during the public consultation, gathered information on the data that should be collected, methods of submitting declarations, technical standards and access to the database.
