The European Commission has submitted the proposal for a "Data Governance Act" (DGA) to the European Parliament and Council. The DGA aims to improve data sharing trust, establish new EU laws on data marketplace neutrality, and make it easier to reuse some public-sector data. Moreover, the DGA will establish common European "data spaces" in specific fields including health, environment, energy, agriculture, mobility, finance, manufacturing, public administration, and skills.
