Implemented Federal Law No. 75-FZ on Amendments to Article 56-2 of the Federal Law on Communications including data-sharing requirements

On 1 September 2023, Federal Law No. 75-FZ on Amendments to Article 56-2 of the Federal Law on Communications entered into force. The Law requires technological communication network providers to store data regarding the transmission, delivery and processing of voice information, text messages, images, video, sounds or other electronic messages and on the interaction of users of information systems or programs for electronic computers operating in networks, data on the owners of autonomous system numbers for 3 years and provide the data upon request of state authorities for investigative purposes.
