On 1 March 2023, the notification requirement regarding data processing activities outlined in Federal Law No. 266-FZ amending 152-FZ on Personal Data (Bill No. 101234-8) entered into force. In particular, the data operators are required to notify the Federal Service for Supervision of Communications, Information Technology, and Mass Media (Roskomnadzor) within 15 days of changes regarding the purpose of processing personal data, categories of personal data processed, legal basis used or methods used for processing personal data.
