Introduced Second Law amending the Youth Protection Act including service access restrictions

On 16 October 2020, the Second Law amending the Youth Protection Act, including service access restrictions, was introduced to the German Parliament. In particular, the Law would require online service providers with over 1 million users in Germany to implement technical measures to enable age verification for user-generated audiovisual content that was self-rated as appropriate for users over 18 years.
