United States of America: Terminated Act relating to the creation of the artificial intelligence advisory council (HB 2060)

On 1 January 2025, the Artificial Intelligence Advisory Council established through Bill 2060 was abolished. The Council was required to study and oversee the artificial intelligence systems developed, used and acquired by the executive and judicial branches. The Council examined and supervised the utilisation of AI systems by specific state agencies in Texas and developed the form for the agencies to report the automated decision systems used.
