Closed consultation on the review of the transborder data flows regime under PIPEDA

On 6 August 2019, the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (OPC) consultation to update the transborder data flows regime under the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) closed. The review asked the stakeholders to submit views on how PIPEDA should be interpreted and applied, and on how a future law could update the legal framework of data transfers.
