Implemented Cybersecurity Law including content moderation regulation

On 1 June 2017, the Cybersecurity Law of China, which includes content moderation regulation, has been implemented. The law makes individuals and organisations responsible for their use of websites, prohibits the establishment of websites for illegal purposes, and requires network operators to prevent the transmission of and delete illegal content posted or shared by their users.
