France: Introduced Bill aiming to regulate the commercial exploitation of the image of children under sixteen on online platforms including content moderation regulation

On 17 December 2019, the Bill aiming to regulate the commercial exploitation of the image of children under sixteen on online platforms, including content moderation regulation, was introduced in the National Assembly of France. The Bill would require video-sharing platform services to cease disseminating content depicting an individual that was a minor at the time of the recording upon request.
