Adopted Bill aiming to regulate the commercial exploitation of the image of children under sixteen on online platforms including content moderation regulation

On 6 October 2020, the Bill aiming to regulate the commercial exploitation of the image of children under sixteen on online platforms, including content moderation regulation, was adopted. The Bill would require video-sharing platform services to adopt measures to promote on their platform information on how the dissemination of the images of children under sixteen years is regulated and information on the risks associated with the distribution of such content. Furthermore, the Bill would require video-sharing platforms to promote measures enabling users to report content depicting children under 16 that would undermine their dignity, moral or physical integrity and improve the detection of such content.
