Consultation closed on UK digital identity and attributes trust framework (2nd version)

On 13 September 2021, the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) closed its consultation on an updated UK digital identity and attributes trust framework. The consultation opened on 19 July 2021. While the alpha version of the framework concerned the rules and standards regarding the use of digital identities in general, the second consultation targets three main areas. They include the general creation of trustworthy digital identifications, interactions with governmental data as well as a governance system for the area of digital identities.
