Consultation opened on UK digital identity and attributes trust framework (alpha version)

On 11 February 2021, the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) opened the consultation on a UK digital identity and attributes trust framework. The consultation will close on 11 March 2021. The framework concerns the use of digital identities for verification purposes and sets out rules regarding the use of digital identities. Main topics include data protection and encryption in an effort to make the digital identity market more secure without physical documents.
