Implemented amendment to Network Act including content moderation requirements
On 31 January 2021, Law No. 17358, amending the Network Act (Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection) to prevent digital sex crimes, was implemented. In particular, the Law requires information network service providers to submit a report on the actions implemented to prevent the distribution of illegally filmed materials depicting sexually exploitative materials.
