Signed amendment to Network Act including content moderation requirements
On 9 June 2020, Bill No. 2024923, amending the Network Act (Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection) to prevent digital sex crimes, was signed into Law (Law No. 17358). In particular, the Law requires information network service providers to submit a report on the actions implemented to prevent the distribution of illegally filmed materials depicting sexually exploitative materials.
