European Union: Announced EU-India Trade and Technology Council including cybersecurity provisions

On 25 April 2022, the European Commission and the Prime Minister of India announced the launch of the EU-India Trade and Technology Council, facilitating coordination and trade in the fields of technology and security. In particular, the parties stated that they would collaborate on regulation in the field of cybersecurity.
